The U.S Under-17 Men’s National Team will be looking to continue the group’s recent hot-streak as they head to Honduras with a spot in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup on the line.
Christian Pulisic and Haji Wright headline the 20-man U.S. U-17 squad that is set to head to Honduras for the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship. The tournament, which will take place between Feb. 27 and March 15, will see four teams earn qualification to the U-17 World Cup in Chile.
The tournament is set to be divided into two groups of six, with each team playing its group-mates in a round robin format. The top two teams will earn a spot in the U-17 World Cup, while the second and third place finishers in each group will advance to a playoff round.
The U.S. enters the tournament having won three of their past four games, the most recent of which came via a 5-2 victory over Belize.
